Preferences CultivationSun exposure and moist soils. It does not tolerate temperatures below 0°C. 
Method of propagationSowing - sow in a greenhouse between late winter and early spring. The seed germinates in 3 to 4 weeks if the temperature hovering around 20°C. If they are in a pot and the soil is fairly rich in nutrients, grow fast.

Properties MedicinalCalming, sedative, antispasmodic, antiseptic, antifungal, treats digestive problems (stomach pain, diarrhea, intestinal spasms, vomiting) and is carminative. May affect how the body process cholesterol. The essential oil diluted in a fixed oil is used externally to ease frictions in rheumatic muscle pain. In dermatology, the essence lotions are recommended and used for cleaning of the sebaceous glands in the case of acne in status 1.
Properties EdibilityFlavoring fish dishes and sauces. As a Herbal tea: heating temperature to about 90°C, add 3 g/L to the infusion and wait 5 minutes, strain and serve.
